You can visit the beach at Ölüdeniz near Fethiye which is very famous and has some of the best hotels, resorts and even clubs. Alanya is another top rated destination with very long beaches, providing space for everyone, while Olimpos beach near Antalya is small, serene with a green forest background and Roman ruins. Other well known beaches that can be visited during summer are located at Bodrum Peninsula and Pamucak near Ephesus. However, if you plan to visit ancient ruins and important archaeological sites during summer, then you should start your tour early in the morning. With rising temperature in the day, the marbles and stones around the ruins become significantly hot and you might feel the need to scampering off looking for shelter under the tree. Weather is much cooler during April and May, and also during late September and October, more so in Istanbul. The slight chill during early morning and cold breeze in the evening might tempt you to wrap a sweater or cardigan around you. Weather in the month of June is much better for visit to Turkey. You can easily enjoy a tour across popular destinations in Turkey such as Ankara, Istanbul, Urgup and Cappadocia. In spring the weather is pleasant and you can enjoy rafting in Cappadocia or go for hiking and camping across the Turkish coastal villages during fall. You can roam around the popular and well known cities in the Turkish Aegean coastal region such as Izmir, Canakkale, Ephesus and Marmaris.
